How we work
Project scope
Clearly defining what the project is, and the deliverables required is the first step. Once those criteria are established, we can build out the Design Brief. This outlines the basics of the project from the problem we solve for, timelines, target market, and goals for the project.

Once we have some guidelines about what we are working towards, and who its for…we can dig deeper. Looking for insights based on your markets interests, needs, and habits helps build a truly meaningful experience. Walking in the shoes of the people you are designing for really paints a picture…empathy can be a powerful tool.
Ideation
The most important part of brainstorming ideas, is getting them down onto paper as quickly as possible. A funnel of bog ideas, being filtered into smaller batches of refined concepts provides a lot of options. As each idea is critiqued, prototypes can prove them wrong quickly. Paper becomes reality and testable prototypes and moving forward are important to get to the finish line.

The best way to visualize ideas quickly is to get them onto paper. This allows us to organize ideas, filter the bad ones, and have something to look at for evaluation. This can be done in a notebook, on a tablet, or a napkin…but it all feeds the same goal: to provide solutions to a problem.
